02 ford explorer cd player ,cd error,acts like 2 cd in but none are and will not load or move?

Don't even bother trying to have it repaired, it will almost as much to have someone look at it, then tell you it isn't worth fixing, as getting a new one. There are various web sites out there that will sell you a replacement (new) that looks like the original.

Lets see. Back in the 60's thieves would rip the stereos right out of the vehicle if you had a good one. They are so inexpensive today (factory) the thieves don't event take them anymore.
