Why idle problems on '07 Civic after resetting computer?

After having throttle body cleaned, the cold idle was a bit high and fluctuated until warm.
I've reset the computer several times, and each time the idle's fine for a couple days,
then gradually goes back to its "surging" when cold. By the way, no error codes display.

The IAC thinks it is connected to a new engine each time the battery is disconnected. It takes a few drive cycles to reset itself. If it continues to do this I would replace the IAC. Idle air control valve.
check to make sure the air intake components are installed correctly. as mentioned previously it does take about 40-50 miles for the computer to reset. last but not least when was the last time the spark plugs, and air filter were changed?

The problem occurred immediately after the throttle body was cleaned. Plugs and air filter had both been replaced a few months prior to throttle body service. I removed the appropriate fuses to reset the computer. The car then idled correctly for 2-3 days, then slowly reverted to the surging. Once the car is at operating temp, all is fine.
Cleaning the throttle body may have blown some of the gunk back into the IAC. Take it off and try cleaning it.
