98 GMC Z71 brake light, new bulb didn't fix

Asked by Leslie Jun 13, 2013 at 06:12 PM about the 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 K1500 SLT 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The passenger side brake light wasn't working, so we assumed it was the bulb.
Purchased a new bulb, installed it, and same result.  The brake light, tail light, and turn
signal on that side do not work - even with new bulb.  Suggestions?

its the fuse or relay for that side. also, check the wires for rust or shorts.
