Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a 2001 Audi 2.7t with a what I believe to be a lack of turbo. I jut
got the car recently, so I don't have much of a reference level of what is
normal. HOWEVER, the is a boost gauge installed on the car and it seems
to say that there is vacuum when the car is idle. So I decided to give it gas
and keep it steady at 4K rpm, the boost goes, i mean the vacuum lessens
as the engine was sped up to that speed, but then went back down to
where it was at idle.
