check to see if anything is leaking on the starter, if not, then quite often this problem is caused by a bad battery cable to the starter. they get corroded inside and voltage problems cause the starter to burn up. also make sure your battery connections are good, both ends. Also, if you buy a new starter, buy a good quality part. even then, have it tested before you leave the parts store.
Who is putting the starter(s) on for you? ask your mechanic- if they are rebuilt starters, those have a limited life- and really, an old Hyundai is not only a money pit, but is not worth putting money into- use your money to get a better car-

Jamnblue is a 08 Hyundai Santa Fe a money pit? Just because I just made my last paymeant got my title and now my starter is is grinding when I'm in park unless I turn key couterclockways. Other then this I've never had a problem and it been maintained since it was brand new.
