Jeep started extreme shaking while driving.

Asked by kmarie04 Sep 13, 2018 at 01:07 PM about the 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Twice my jeep started shaking severely while driving.  First time I was slowing and merging into the left lane to turn off the freeway, the shaking lasted about 10 seconds. Last night I was driving 65-70 mph on the freeway when it started, it lasted about 20 seconds.
Prior to these events I had most of the suspension replaced, alignment and tires rotated and balanced. tires are in good condition.
