I think the noise from transfer case

There is a noise that sounds like a strain when I turn left or right , it might be coming from my transfer case. Don't know for sure.

that's a sound that I have heard before it could be coming from the transfer case. you will need a transmission guy to check it out for you...

Are you running your Jeep in 4WD on the pavement? That would do it and if you are running in 4WD on hard surfaces you may ruin the transfer case. 4WD is for snow, ice and mud.
