This happened to me in my 2004 Grand Cherokee. I searched the internet and found a YouTube video that helped me fix it. On the drivers side door, at the bottom where all of the wires are,I looked over the wires thoroughly and finally found that a wire was bare. We taped up the wire and it's worked ever since. I hope this helps.
