Can the drivers seat on a 2000 Lincoln TC be moved back? The motor works fine, but I need a little more room.

You could redrill new holes back a little more for more leg room, but my concern would be the safety of the seats and not holding properly in case of a accident...
You might be able to move it back a couple of inches, but new holes would need to be drilled in the floor as joemom posted. I would assume you would move the seat forward to drive the car and move it back to be able to get out easier.
Town Cars have the "easy out/easy access" seats that slide all the way back, is this not enough room for you? If the feature is not working, it can be enabled from the settings on the dash.
It's a feature in 98 and newer Town Cars, if you have the memory seat, it will automatically slide all the way back when shifting ont o park and key is removed. The feature is enabled from the factory. If you're not the original owner a previous owner might have disabled it. This link goes over the process to disable it, so you might be able to see how to re-enable it. However, if you already have the seat all the way back, this won't do anything for you. If that's the case you might want to look into a taller seat with a longer rack to slide further back.
Maybe as a last resort (and very pricey): https://tall.life/car-seats-for-tall-people-extra-tall/
