Good call tennisshoes. Question: is the engine overheating
or is the needle just going up? The conditions you describe
are quite a heat-load on any engine. If it's running a little
warmer than it used to - that's to be expected but if it's
over-heating, get it looked at. Use the Gold Ford
recommended Antifreeze - no Green or Orange - 50/50 or
up to 70/30 mixture - while I'm thinking of it: Check the
Pressure cap and water pump output too. Serpentine belts
these days tend to stretch instead of losing chunks out of
them - check your belt tensioner to see if it's near it's limit.
Fan failures are common and about $260 + labor.
