I have changed the thermostat and the cylinder temperature sensor and the car still runs
hot and the radiator fan does not come on. What should I check next?

could be the coolant sensor

Relay is the most likely, some auto stores will check them for you.

what is the probable cause for the radiator fan to stop causing overheating
the cooling fan is variable speed controlled by a module attached to the fan and controlled by the computer. if you chk the wiring diagram you will find 1 wire(heavy) is +12v one (heavy) is gnd and the third is a small control wire which carries a signal from the ECM. the other side of this module goes to the fan. if you unplug and "hot wire" the fan and it runs and the input wires (hot and grnd) are ok most likely a bad modual
