Sound,s like fuel problem, check fuel filter ,and fuel pressure from fuel pump, may be bad.
It could also be your optical distributor. I agree......fuel system. My 1991 had a similar problem. I ended up spending a lot of money at a dealer where they replaced all of the injectors; fuel lines; etc. After receiving the bill I could have used an ambulance for just the 'shock' value. I swear the dealer just changed items until they found the actual faulty component. This is why I hardly ever go to dealers! Good luck.
We changed the fuel filter, and we can hear the fuel pump running, and we can also hear the fuel in the injectors...my buddy pushed a needle valve to see if there was fuel pressure, and fuel squirted out fine ...it seems like when something gets hot it triggers the kill

mine exactly, after it gets hot its 20 minutes till it will start. what was the problem. its killing me
ck ignition module. remove it and look for very small hair line cracks in the module. it is on the front top right of the engine, small 2 by 1 inch square with a plug in.
