Question type: General

What are the crumple zones of a 2000 subaru forester? Is it just the front? Is
the steel in the back different from the steel used in the front?

I am curious why you want to know. As far as I know crumple zones are more a matter of design than steel type.

Foresters are reasonably sturdy, but based on the smaller Impreza platform, not as strong as the larger Legacy/OB platform. Their lessened safety is also a function of being less good handling (wrong aspect ratio), excess cross-wind sensitivity at speed, and shorter crumple zone in the rear.
