2002 4 runner V-6 4WD 250,000 miles

tires are wearing unevenly on rear only. specifically the OUTER edge of the
drivers rear.
replaced a rear passenger broken shock. did not replace the drivers rear shock.
other than the shock, is there something else that could wear out causing un
even tire wear?

The rear springs or the control arms and or bushings might be worn or broken. Have an alignment done on the vehicle to verify. Shocks and other suspension components should be replaced in pairs.

Some vehicles require a 4 wheel alignment, not just a front end alignment. Your service facility will be able to tell you if that's what you need. Hope that helps! Jim
