Autimatic car does not break when I am turning into a parking space or shopping center - it only occurs when the wheel is turned and it is intermittent - any thoughts?

Is your brake light illuminated on your dash? If so, check your brake fluid level. It may be so low, that you will now have to bleed your brakes to get the air out. If it is that low, you either have a slow leak, or your pads are about shot. I would tear into the brakes and inspect the front and rear. If you have drums in the rear, sometimes the brake cylinder inside the drum will begin to leak. Check the back side of your tires. You should see that one of them is all oily if you have a drum leak.
