Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Toyota Celica GT wont shift into first, third and fifth gear and its a manual transmission.  Second gear and fourth gear and reverse are fine.  What could be the problem?  It was working fine then this happened all of a sudden out of nowhere

Sounds like gears finally gave out. Go to few trans places and tell them. Get few estimates, and while apart replace clutch, etc.

oh okay. Is this an expensive fix or is it not too scary? haha

Depends if they fix trans gears or just replace. I would check around. Its not cheap but I think its worth the investment, your car is fairly new, correct? If you can drive it take it in, don't tell them what you think it is, let them evaluate it and tell you what they will do to repair. And ask them if any other options

Yeah my car is a 2004 so it's still has some great years left. Yeah for sure I'll let them tell me for sure. Thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

Dude get underneath the car and put the bushing in your stabilizer bar going from the shifter to your transmission that's all it is lmao
