1996 corolla starts fine,when i press the gas peddle down it cuts off. Why?

I can start out in low gear and slowly shift into drive and it will run fine. I stop turn off the
engine a few minutes get back in it starts fine but when I pull out in traffic I can't step on
the gas peddle very much or it will cut off. I have and the fuel pump and filter replaced
and the coolant therm sensor replaced and still have the problem. any suggestions?

Is the Check Engine Light On? Could be dozens of things, plugged catalytic convertor, failed/dirty MAF sensor, all the way to something as simple as dirty air filter
