MY TRANSMISSION WILL NOT SHIFT BEYOND 3RD GEAR.THE O/D INDICATOR COMES ON DASH BUT IT WILL NOT SHIFT.TRANNY DOES NOT SLIP AND FLUID IS GOOD.COULD IT BE A SOLENOID IN THE TRANNY?IF SO, HOW MUCH TO REPAIR?

Your automatic transmission is either shot - or needs a flush and filter. What does the color of the trans oil look like? That's a tell tale sign of how it's doing. It should be red in color. If it's brown or black you have burnt friction material in there and it's probably gone out. Oversize tires and an automatic do not mix. Only hastens the process of your trans going out.
