what could be wrong with my newly purchased trailblazer?

i just bought this vehicle two days ago. i took it to my mechanics to get a
code read. the oil guage doesnt move when i turn it on or off. the vehicle
has 185xxx miles in it. theres also a groaning when i use the air on high. i
used to own a 1998 tahoe and the tahoe also groaned when the fan for the
air came on? there werent any codes found then. mechanic said to come
back after i bought the correct gas cap and got the brakes done. the check
engine light came on yesterday, the check guage light came on then went
off. i really hope this oil pressure guage doesnt turn into a nightmare. any
advice would be awesome.

All you need to do for peace of mind it to have the oil pressure checked with a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Replace the oil sending unit since it would be out anyway.
