Thats weird, temperature related hard or no start, cold, There could be a bulletin for that...or you just need to check spark and fuel while its acting up. does it have trouble codes stored in memory?
Check the igintion switch, there was a recall on this, and even if it has been done, you may have to have it replaced again, malibu,s are bad for this, change the switch.
That could be a great point, if you have bulletins that apply, an outstanding recall, or the new part fails function tests, it could have an issue there, even with a connector, or I have found issues with power distribution main feed at the distribution center,. tracking back from the part that should work, you can find loss of voltage, or voltage drop (decrease) in the reading when connected parallel, then operating. have your technician find the failed connector, ground source, or power source, or find the part at fault. Basics rule the 12v diagnosis
