I have a 1996 dodge ram 1500 5.9L . It started about a week ago and when I went to turn the key nothing happens. All the lights come on but nothing kicks. Absolutly no activity under the hood. Any ideas?

Check battery voltage. Tighten and clean battery connections.

Check your battery terminals. They need to be clean and tight especially in winter. It does happen that the battery will get off enough power to light your lamps but not start the car.

the main ground connection from battery to chassis...this 1/0 cable is often neglected and has 300 or more AMPS repeatedly creating a "brown" power condition....a relay...either the ignition/start relay will drop out if there isn't 12.5 volts to the relay buss ground~ check the ground at the buss to make sure that the necessary voltage is there to keep your relays alive...~
