Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 liter. I can drive the truck, but when I start to accelerate, past 35-40 mph, it will start to rev higher and not accelerate. Almost like it is getting choked out, or is getting restricted. To the point where I have to let off the gas. I can't get past 40 mph. Then my "check engine" light comes on and stays on. I took it into Autozone to get the code read, and they said that it's saying that it has a miss fire in all of the cylinders. I had a tune up less than a year ago, and had all the plugs, wires distributer  and rotor replaced, my plugs look good, and the wires were on tight. I also just had my tranny serviced and they said that everything looked great, but were also concerned about the lack of power. Does anyone have any ideas, or can point me in the right direction thanks.

This sounds like the catalytic converter is plugged. You can tell at night once it is all warmed up, pulling over & leave the motor run, then look in the dark at the converter to see it there is a orange glow to it. This would cause check engine light.
