On old truck I picked up I was going through it and found it does not have a PCV on it, found that interesting.  I asked several people and everyone says it should have it.   This is a mexico build in 1998

Not necessarily. My 03 S10 Pick Up with the 2.2L engine doesn't have one. It has a metered orifice tube instead. With 297,000 miles on it, it has never needed to be cleaned or replaced. Hope that helps! Jim
