My 2001 Dodge ram seems to have a very quick miss at about 60mph tach around 1500...why?

I'm driving around 60mph,  tach at 1500 and I feel something like a miss.  No check
engine light.  It has just over 102,000 miles.  Burns some oil.  I've been adding antifreeze.  
Can't find a leak..water pump replaced in the last year.  What could it be?  Thx for any
help! 5.9 v8

My guess would be that you have a head gasket leaking

Thx Zeak....so it could let loose at any time? Haven't noticed the smoke though.
