My 05 1500 hemi wont move in all gears. Was starting to get some hesitation when putting it in gear when cold. Then bam. Wont move through all gears. I changed pan filter and canister filter on tranny. Still wont move. There was some metal in the pan but not very much. Anyone know what the problem is? 1 Answer

Does a 46re dodge transmission require fluid for the linkage to move through the gears on the column? The pan is down and we noticed it was stuck in park at the column and on the linkage. 8 Answers
Son bought it without driveline and had to replace the overdrive extention. Wont go intoany gear with or without extention. Pan is down so no fluid at this time.

I have a 95 dodge ram that I am having problems with no reverse. The truck is not worth enough to drop a lot of money on a new or rebuilt transmission. Im not a mechanic, but like to tinker. The truck had issues with forward gears but reversed was working, I didnt have the money to fix so I let it sit for over 3 yrs. I decided to tinker with it, I replaced the control solenoid, filter and fluid. now all forward gears work great but when I put it into reverse, It will back up slowly on its own, but if I give it gas it just revs up like its in nuetral and it vibrates like its trying to back up but wont go. Fluid level is good, nothing was found in the pan (very little shavings). Could it be air in the lines? bands need to be adjusted? or what? 1 Answer
reverse issues
