99 chevy blazer battery problems

Asked by LicaGuru May 28, 2018 at 01:27 AM about the 1999 Chevrolet Blazer 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck won't start. It'll turn on and make a
rapid clicking noise when trying to start it.
Tried a new battery and its the same thing.
Tried jumping and all it does is turn all the
lights on and when trying to start will make a
rapid clicking noise. Anyone know what it
could be and if so how to fix it?

Sounds like a bad starter solenoid. You can bump the starter by crossing the two terminals in the solenoid. If the starter works then your solenoid is bad.
