Can't shift to 2nd gear

I can't shift into 2nd gear it just grinds it was
starting to be hard to get in into 2nd gear but if i
pulled the shifter hard it would go in but now it just
grinds

Bleed the clutch and stop forcing it you'll ruin the tranny. After you've bled it see how it feels with the car off , don't drive far on test drive because like I said if you keep forcing it [ . . . . . ..] Thats an older car and may need the entire clutch done along with all the rest ,throwout bearing , slave cylinder etc. Let us know what happens
It's not a hydraulic clutch. The clutch is fine. I just noticed I can down shift into 2nd but as soon as it grabs it comes out and grinds. It's like it just won't go all the way into gear. I had recently changed the oil and no teeth came out and had been working fine.

if it's just that one gear I would say the tranny needs to be inspected at least , don't drive it like that you'll ruin it , the problem may be the weakest link and the first sign of needing a rebuild , just cause it's old don't mean it ain't good .
