2002 jetta 2.0 wont start no crank

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Started to crank then stopped after about 10 min
or so no sounds othet than little click  and
humming noise  under hood headlights go off
When turning key to start come back on when I let
off key had no problems before all other lights stay
on, dome ,dash
