Look at your battery terminals for corrosion. That is often the problem when it suddenly happens like that. If there is black or green or white 'mold' looking crap on one or both, a good cleaning might just do it. If you do this, put a battery tender on it while cables are disconnected someplace that will keep the system energized, or you will have to go through the radio code re-set.
Did that tried jumping it and still nothing checked the fuses all are good
And do you have a volt meter? Or preferably multi-meter?
Did that tried jumping it and still nothing checked the fuses all are good and yes I checked the voltage at the battery and the cigarette lighter both read 12.56 volts
That's acceptable, should start the car. Try this: Take a jumper cable and hook one end to Neg-- Black Post on battery and the other end to a good ground on chassis, or block. May have to jump from another car at same time, if when you tried jumping it and had ground on battery. If you had ground on frame of your car from other car battery before, thats probably not it though That will tell you if the ground is good (or not). If it starts like that, the battery ground is not making a good connection. After that is starter solenoid Also voltage does not mean amperage for battery, it needs a load test to really know for sure
Ok good place to start does any of the power inside the car work and turn on? If not you most likely have a cordded or broken ground either on the starter or frame. Trail all your negative leads and look for signs of corrosion or breakage. If you do have power its possible the starter most likely had the points lead rot off like my audi did. a sure sign to this is if the car is weak to start this is the likely cause.
