I have a new stock 700r4 transmission in my 1997 camaro and I wanna get a built motor but I don't know what that transmission stock can handle. Any suggestions ?????

Summit sells the same transmission with a manual valve body. You can take your trans, add a shift kit and a higher stall speed torque converter even without building the engine and get better acceleration
