I have a 2006 Toyota matrix. it was wrecked
in July 2017 the only main problem with it is
the roof. Is caved in and I Was trying to see
if i could replace the roof.

The car is worth between $4,200 and $5,900 depending on condition, If the repair is more that the low of $4,200 I would not have it done, can it be repaired "YES" more then what the car is worth then "NO". Have a few shops price out the job..Good Luck

The roof and the supports for the roof are important safety components. I am not sure just cutting the old roof off and welding on another will keep the roll over integrity. I would go with a NSF certified shop or scrap it. Too many shops will tack weld a used top on and paint it and it will look good but it would disintegrate in a roll over.
