I had my check engine light and vsc light came on went to mech and he check it with computer and said that oxgyen sensor was bad replace it drove care on sunday and light came back on check gas cap ok

This is has happened to me twice. Both times it was about 150 miles or so after an oil change. The guy at Jiffy Lube forgot to reattach a hose while pulling out the air filter. Look near the air filter and you should see a hose that's not attached to anything. Re-attach (should be fairly obvious where to connect it) and you should be good to go.
Constant problem with my RAV4. Difficult to diagnose and expensive to fix. Would reconsider before buying another similar car.

It happened to me too. The only thing you need to do is disconnect you battery and you computer will re-program by itself
