NEED TO REPLACE A BATTERY

Do some measuring and see what size will fit (side-side all 6 ways) Also most places selling batteries have a touch screen with oem spec (amp size) size for most cars. I like to measure and find out the amp size and if side post change to top post and measure each battery until I find one that barely fits, is top post, has the highest cranking amp possible. I also skip looking at 2-3 year warranty batteries and go for the 3 year replacement & another 2 yrs probate replacement batteries, Its going to last the longest coupled with its also larger than the stock specs. May even get past 5yrs with it. Top post will work in more auto's if you want to use in a different one you can and top post is easier to put jumper cables on and also if you need to attach a wire, if using the clamp on terminal wire style terminals its easy to do so with extra light wires ect. When you need new Battery terminal wires, side post will need pre-made (cost more) while its cheaper to buy the wire (with connector for ground/starter on one end, nothing on the other end) add your more versatile clamp on style top post terminals along with any other wires you may have or add in the future.HTH
