I have a 2007 Forester, 64,000 miles. A noise developed in right rear tire. New bearing put on, tires rotated. Noise still there. My mechanic can't find the problem. Please help.

There was a noise in the right rear tire. It sounded like the tire was wobbling but it was not. My mechanic replaced the bearing and rotated the tires.  It's still making the noise.  He is still working on he car but cannot find anything else that is wrong.  Help.

could be the brakes, the drive spindle for that hub, or an issue with the differential, those would be my best guesses.

Sometimes brakes will squeak. Slide pins need to be lubed with sil-glide or equivalent(available at any parts store) Pads need to be lubed as well especially the back of the pad and where the brake caliper makes contact with pads. Also, was the hub replaced with a Chinese aftermarket or an OEM Subaru hub? Lots of cheap parts out there I would only use an OEM hub as replacement.
