No Heat

Asked by Megan Jan 05, 2016 at 10:41 PM about the 2007 Pontiac G6 GT Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My pontiac g6 gt is only blowing cold air out when I turn my
heat on and on high and let it sit for a while. The only time it
gets warm is when my car is going, it even stops blowing
hot air out when I stop for a second at a stop sign. Can
somebody please tell me what this is?

hmmm very interesting indeed. Sounds like it may be a problem with your thermostat going bad

Your coolant is low. Your coolant has to be full in both the radiator and overflow. That way it has enough coolant to circulate to your heater core which is what heats up the air to blow your heat
