Overheating and no heat coming into the cabin

My Pontiac G6 GT is overheating and no heat is
coming into the cabin.  I changed the thermostat and
put new antifreeze in,  but it's still doing the same
thing.  What can I do to fix this problem??

Could be an air pocket there may be a bleeder on top of the thermostat housing . Does it over heat soon after driving ? Is the exhaust white ? Is there white goop under the oil fill cap ?
