Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2006 jaguar s type v6 3.0.
Was driving fine with no issues or warnings.
Went into a store, came out, started the car
and car just started running rough. Then got
the performance restriction on the dash.
Tried briefly to get it home but it wouldn't go
over 10 mph. Stopped at a light and saw
almost a steam like smoke coming from
under the car. Immediately pulled over and
got it towed.
Had the car Scanned and only code that
came up was p0300, which could possibly
be anything minor to major.

Things done (some needed anyway).
Plugs
Coils
IMT o-rings
Fuel filter
Problem not solved. Car starts but runs very
rough to the point once you let off the gas,
car stalls. Will start right up again.
Suggestions????
