Is it difficult to recharge ac in 2005 explorer?

The refrigerant in your ac unit does not go bad, evaporate inside the system, or simply go away. If you need refrigerant in the system then you have a leak. That has to be fixed before you try to recharge the system (properly by pulling a vacuum) or you're wasting money.
