I replaced my battery and alternator on my 2008 chevy impala, the battery charging system light goes on a a red battery on the dash any chance it could be the voltage regulator. Sometimes it starts other times it does not help, this has been going on for a week
Help my car is doing the same !!!
If the wires were crossed, was your car able to start normally?

Right I want to know as well my 08 Impala will start and run if I charge the battery but it's not charging in the car battery and alternator are good ... Looking at starter and noticed that the black wire from car turns red if you follow it ... Hopefully I understand the picture correctly I am about to try something
