P1497

I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S and an engine
code came up with P1497, and no one can
give me a straight answer, I’ve been told a
vacuum leak to a turbo.... can anyone help
me with this?

Not something that I’ve done, but have heard of others with the N14 trying the following: Check hoses going between turbo and throttle body for leaks. Smoke test at a dealer. If your engine has done 60k+ it may be that your intake valves are suffering from carbon build up. Most that have this issue get it walnut blasted to fix.
