Question type: Maintenance & Repair

it is just the car cooling down. It does it even if I drive a couple of miles. Any ideas what it could be? Does anyone have the same problem with this make (Forrester) and year 2009? The noises come from the front and underneath.

in all honesty it is just your engine cooling, the combustion temperatures of an engine are extremely HOT and make the whole engine and exhaust hot too, it's just the sound of the metals cooling and contracting slightly like they should.
