Odd, when you disconnect your vehicle battery the AC blows cold and when its connected you only get hot air? How did you even discover disconnecting the battery allowed the AC to get cold? Wow, more info ?

If I crank up the truck and cut the a/c on and it blows out hot air, Then I disconnect battery and plug back up and a/c blows cold air, works until I switch truck off, Then it my work several time are my not the next time I go to use it. Also when this happens the push buttons that cut a/c on does not light up.
Did you ever find the problem. My car is doing the same thing?
