Cd player doesn't work

My cd player doesn't work. I'll load a cd in the
player act like it's working and then nothing
happens accept the cd gets stuck. Please
advise

From what you described, it sounds like the tray mechanism is broken. I would replace with another CD player, as repairing them is not cost effective, plus it is hard to find anyone that does repair them anymore. Check on ebay or a salvage yard for a used replacement or upgrade to a new one. crutch field is an online site for car audio.
