what is an indication that my vindicator camshaft needs to be replaced

Asked by PTCrusierMom Apr 25, 2018 at 02:03 PM about the 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car would not start up first two tries. Then, it started and as I drove it, it
was missing and stuttering if I drove over 20 mph. Any faster and it was
more pronounced. Turned back, had the car towed to a mechanic. Next day,
he could not recreate the problem by read the electronic log that he said
indicated the vindicator camshaft needed to be replaced. wondering if that is
going to take care of the problem.
