2011 Chevy traverse vent valve location

Asked by Pride_5404 Feb 13, 2017 at 05:57 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Traverse 1LT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Been getting evap codes so I replaced the purge valve solenoid (easy) but still
having the same issue and read it may be the vent valve solenoid. Is this above
the gas tank?  I can't seem tho locate it! Any assistance is appreciated!

If this is a Vortec V8 it may be under the cover over the top of the engine. I recall seeing a diagram somewhere around that area.

I only saw the purge solenoid, which I replaced, under the engine cover. And no, it's a v6. But I do appreciate the response.

Location is on top of the gas tank. It appears the tank must be pulled to get to the vent valve
