When water leak on Passenger side floor will that

I had similar issue with my 328xi, it turned out to be the ac/heater, my right side vents only providing cold air
My car starts but wont stay in drive or reverse also when i open the transmission lever i have to rev it pretty hard in order for it to move and when it does it pops out as if stuck
