Can we cut a access panel to get to the fuel pump on my 90 Cadillac Eldorado ?

I keep popping a few fuses in my 1996 Caddi El Dorado. Then the engine dies. My mechanic thinks its the fuel pump that is having intermittent issues. How difficult would it be to replace the fuel pump in this caddi ? thanks 1 Answer
