Car vibrates and shakes but goes away after I restart

Glow  plug and engine light go on ,car vibrates then gradually shakes more
and more but if I stop and restart it it runs perfectly till the next time3-10 days
later

Mine did that same kind of thing last month. It would shutter and I would let off but I was blowing white smoke. I bought a fuel additive and It hasn't happened again. I'm assuming that was my problem. Wondering if it actually was the glow plugs on yours maybe then mine are starting to go.
