I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring with a v-6 2.7 the bleeder housing is leaking would this cause the car to over heat on small trips? Thanks Jim

Yup, as air is being introduced to the system, as well as allowing coolant to escape, and also the system is not pressurizing fully, just like a defective radiator cap would do. Just fix it, a warped head isn't worth it.
