Definitely not worth it, have you checked Kelley Blue Book. It's about $5,000 over the sales price. Plus, how do you know the car's never been used as even a demo car? I mean, it's going on 5 model years old. Has this been in a museum, who's paying attention to the fluids, and what kind of environment has it been in. You know, it's not just mileage, its time and deterioration that takes its toll on vehicles. If I were you, I would look at a Subaru WRX STI if you want performance and have $30,000 to spend on a car. For one thing, convertible cars while sexy develop more problems as they age, and replacing the top is VERY EXPENSIVE. I hope you have deep pockets for this. Normally, it's the V8 Camaro that holds its value. Good luck.
Joel, you're welcome. Did you check out the WRX STI? By the way, that 0-60 time on the Subaru will definitely impress. And, while you won't have a convertible, you'll have a car that will hold its resale value better and no excessively expensive rag top to replace. Go for a test drive or even look this up on you tube. You're going to be very pleasantly surprised by how a Four cylinder "boxer engine " delivers 305 horsepower and 290 foot pounds of torque. If you want to purchase a car that's a true sports sedan, this car is for you. It's really a young person's car, I don't have one but, I've talked with people who have had them and also read articles. It's a very taut suspension and somewhat rough riding car, but, the performance is blazing. Most people would never expect this kind of performance from a Four and a car that looks like a smaller sports sedan. Think of it like a "wolf in sheep's clothing ". What makes the Subaru cars cool is the superior engineering and horizontally opposed boxer engine and distinctive sound. Good luck with your search and if my answers have been helpful, please mark one of them as best answer. Thanks.
